This is the Type-L logic board for the Power Macintosh G5 early 2005 dual 2.0GHz models only.

This logic board is specific to the dual 2.0GHz models and therefore may not be fully compatible with either the dual 2.3GHz or the dual 2.7GHz (LCS) modes.

It is highly recommended that when swapping the logic board a like for like replacement is fitted to avoid any possible compatibility issues. If you have either a dual 2.3GHz or dual 2.7GHz (LCS) model please see our related products below for the corresponding logic boards.

In order to confirm which logic board version is fitted to the machine you will need to match the logic board's EEE code. The EEE number consists of the 3 digits before the last number. (eg: XXXXXXXEEEX) Type-L has an EEE code of either SF1 or SG6.
